Susan Currie Morehouse

Associate

Ms. Morehouse is a member of the Real Estate Acquisition,Banking Law and Commercial Finance practice groups. She handles complex commercial transactions on both a local and national level. Ms. Morehouse's commercial real estate experience includes representation of regional and national clients in connection with acquisitions, sales, financings, and leasing transactions. In addition, she frequently represents lending institutions in credit and real estate transactions. She has extensive experience with bond transactions, subordination and inter-creditor agreements, guarantees, participation agreements, letters of credit and security agreements.

Prior to joining our firm, Ms. Morehouse was associated with Brown Wood Ivey Mitchell & Petty, a large New York City law firm. During that time, she handled municipal bond and corporate finance transactions as bond counsel and as underwriter's counsel.

Memberships

  • Ms. Morehouse spends substantial time volunteering in the community. She is most proud of her involvement in the establishment of Larchmont Friends of the Family, Inc., a not-for-profit organization intended to assist families when a parent or child dies or suffers a catastrophic illness.
